    When working with a building's interior designer, it is essential to know where the wiring will be placed, as most commercial or residential buildings have wiring installed in the walls. Some wiring is required for internet connections or telephone lines, but some people are opting for wireless service instead.



When working to make a building energy-efficient and sustainable, we need to collaborate with the HVAC and lighting systems to find ways to conserve energy.


Something that interior designers need to consider is visual control for security, much like in hospitals, offices, or stores, where private information or valuable objects are present, necessitating the use of effective security systems and alarms.



One type of security system used in prisons, retail malls, and schools is called Lockdown Systems, which electronically closes all doors and shuts down an entire building, preventing anyone from leaving or exiting. Hence, for this type of system or use for prisons and schools, and malls to keep people safe,


An interior system found in malls, hotels, and schools is a conveying system that operates escalators and elevators. Stair conveying systems are also found in these locations, allowing people to move between different floors.
